They are responsible for coordinating the project and managing the costs of the production.
They bring the director’s vision to life, whilst coordinating the lighting, equipment, the set and managing the production schedule with the right cast members.
They need to ensure the creative output is as good as possible within the budget.
This is a job where you learn on the job but having a degree or short courses can help you get entry into the profession.
